I realize this may not be a big deal to y'all
but
OTOH
It was to me
Yesterday I saw three swans sitting on a farm pond off of Hwy 11 a little south of Mendon.
I got the car stopped in just a few hundred feet and backed up to get another look.
They were no longer in view.
I was planning to turn around and drive by again and I spotted them flying away to the WNW (away from me)
I know they have been spotted elsewhere in MO this year but it was kewl to see some for myself.

I got a call from my brother and he said "Get your arse down hear to Black Walnut, there are snow geese all over on both sides of the road, flying back and forth. Tyler is putting the sneak on them now they are only about 60 yards form the road. I never knew they had such long necks" I said stop "Stop him right now!" "Why" "they are swans you fricking dumbass". I hear him jump out of the truck yelling "Don't Shoot! Don't Shoot!".

OLS , you are right up by where we hunt. Saw 3 several times in December flying around. Probably the same 3.

seen 8 out of the pit 3 weeks ago day flyen south east aint seen them since  i guess locked is tired of eaten swan by now

well both of them made it to the channel & were swimming south towards the dam the last i seen them. the 1st one had 2 CO's, 2 COE rangers, a fed & some chick from the bird rescue joint hot on his ass.
